Common questions
Do I need an appointment?
Yes. The door says to call for an appointment. Call the office at (972) 537-5098, or send a request from the Visit page. During tax season, from January through April, the office is busy, so an appointment is the sure way to be seen.
Do you speak Spanish?
Yes. The sign says “Hablamos español.” You can do the whole appointment in Spanish or in English. This website is in both languages.
What should I bring for a personal tax return?
Bring a photo ID, Social Security cards or ITIN letters for everyone on the return, all W-2s and 1099s, and last year’s return if you have it. The tax preparation page has the full list. If a form is missing, call before you come.
Can you prepare a return for my small business?
Yes. Bring last year’s business return if you have it, and a record of money in and money out. If you also need a personal return, say so when you book. Details are on the small business tax page.
I have not filed in a few years. Can I come in?
Call and name the years. Bring any IRS letters you have. We will tell you which returns we can prepare and what is still missing. Do not send Social Security numbers through the website.
Where are you, and where do I park?
JBK Tax & Multy Services is in Suite 201 at 1010 S Edmonds Lane, Lewisville, TX 75067, in Lewisville Plaza near Fox Avenue. Park in the lot in front of the building. Look for the blue JBK Tax sign on the corner.
What are your hours?
The published hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday the office is closed. Call before you come. The schedule can change in tax season.
